Like many magazines before it, Guitar Edge makes promises they can't keep. I currently subscribe, but will not renew. Most of the transcriptions are in micro-print. Probably, to save money on printing costs, but trying to read while playing is somewhat futile. Unless of course, you're blessed with spectacular vision. The instructional articles promise you can hear them online, but the files are nowhere to be found. If they allowed subscribers to access current tunes(In PDF)and sound files, I would find this magazine more useful. That way, you could print out larger pages for yourself, and edit out the parts you find unesscessary. The songs represented are geared mainly towards electric guitar. I find this odd, considering how many acoustic guitars are sold in this country every year.
